|  Revision of Distribution Fees for the Bioresources at RIKEN BRC
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------

  The RIKEN BioResource Center (BRC) is a non-profit institution funded
by the Japanese Government. We are engaged in collecting, maintaining,
multiplying, storing and distributing bioresources, with the aim to
support research and development in the field of life sciences. We
provide bioresources to scientists not only in Japan but also throughout
the world with minimum fees solely to reimburse RIKEN BRC for the
preparation and handling costs of the requested bioresources. Due to
changes in prices and protocols within the three years since the last
revision of our fees, it has become necessary to revise them again.
  We sincerely hope that these revisions will not inconvenience our
users. We very much appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and
are looking forward to receiving your requests for our bioresources.
  The revised distribution fees will apply to all orders for
bioresources from Monday April 1, 2013.

  Since a sufficient number of embryos have been preserved, live mice of
the following strains will be discontinued soon.
It will take more than 3 months to recover live mice from frozen stock.
Therefore, please inform us as soon as possible if you plan to use the
mice and request them alive.
