  By courtesy of Amalgaam (MBL), the Depositor of the Fucci mice, from
March 7, 2014, the Fucci mice can be distributed to academic researches
in not-for-profit entities without prior conclusion of the MTA with
Amalgam (MBL). Only the conclusion of MTA between a user and RIKEN BRC
is required. We sincerely appreciate Amalgam (MBL) for its generous
measure for users of the Fucci mice.

  Japanese Conference for Laboratory Animal Science and Technology,
Sapporo 2014 will be held at Sapporo Convention Center from May 15
through to 17. Dr. Yoshiki, Head of Experimental Animal Division RIKEN
BRC will talk on "Genetic Monitoring at RIKEN BRC" and also Dr. Nakata,
Senior Technical Scientist will present "Genetic quality test for
multiple transgenes of genetically-modified mice" at symposium Ⅵ on May
15.

It will take more than 3 months to recover live mice from frozen stock.
