Strain developmentDeveloped by Kazuhiro Nagata, Kyoto University in 2012. KY1.1 ES cells derived from (C57BL/6J x 129S6/SvEvTac)F1 were used. C57BL/6 congenic strain by backcrossing for 7 generations.
Strain descriptionSerpinh1 (Hsp47) floxed mice. A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 6. An FRT-flanked neo cassette with a 3'loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 6.
