Strain development | Developed by Tsuneyasu Kaisho, Research Center for Allergy and Immunologuy, RIKEN around 2005. |
Strain description | Spi-B is an Ets family transcription factor. In B6.Cg-Spib<tm1Ksho> mice, the Spi-B gene is targeted and disrupted. Spi-B-deficient mice show defects in plasmacytoid dendritic cell function and development and in development of an intestinal epithelial cell subset, M cell. |
