Notice for distribution of wrong frozen embryos

On July 21, 2023, we received an email that a user found a different label name as ordered on the vial of the delivered frozen embryos. Immediately we contacted other users of the same shipping date, and we discovered that two strains were shipped to incorrect users due to mispacking the frozen embryos between the two cryogenic containers.

We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience this has caused our users. We are sorry for letting the users waste their invaluable time and effort by sending the wrong frozen strain. We asked the users to destroy the wrongly shipped resources by an appropriate method and sent each user frozen embryos of the correct strain.

After this incidence, we have immediately revised protocols for preparation and packing of frozen samples. In particular, we integrate multiple sheets used for the procedures into a visually clearer one as the preventive measure so that we never mispack the samples in wrong cryogenic containers again. We would like to reaffirm the users of our commitment to providing high quality mouse resources. We appreciate all users for your support and understanding for our activities.
